Amazon.com Product Description Make a fashion statement as you cut through the water with the competition-quality, pastel-colored Women's Vanquisher swim goggle from Speedo. The anti-fog, polycarbonate lens is shatter-resistant, has a pearlescent mirrored finish, and is UV protected. The soft silicone lens gaskets sit in a low profile on your face and offer cushioned protection. For a more comfortable swim and to avoid water intake, choose the right size of nose piece from the three provided. Speedo's line of competition swim goggles are designed for the serious competitor. Made from the highest-quality materials available, their low-profile design will give any swimmer the competitive advantage. About Speedo In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn't take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it's manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange. Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits. Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland's Inge de Bruijn. What's in the Box? Women's Vanquisher swim goggle, three interchangeable nose pieces, printed instructions in English, French, and Spanish

no eye hickeys! July 23, 2010 jilkiks Having used goggles for many years of my life, I have to say that these goggles are pretty comfortable and they do not leave those unsightly circles around your eyes. I would say the purple is a little dark for inside swimming, but outside on a sunny day they are perfect!
Nice look, but foggy after 3 months July 23, 2010 Jisuk Park I loved the look and it was perfect for swimming laps for about 3 months. Then it started foggy all the time. I used the speedo anti-fog spray, but it only works for a few laps. I wish someone mentioned this in the review so I wouldn't have bought two... I wouldn't recommend this unless you replace your goggle every 3 months.
great fit July 16, 2010 YG Hadn't purchased goggles for 20 years. These came with 4 different nose pieces to help with fit. No leaking!
Great goggles July 12, 2010 Gail E. Henkel (Austin) These fit my head well, never fog up, and they keep the sun out of my eyes when I do backstroke. Speedo makes great swim products. I've used their goggles for 40 years.
excellent goggles July 11, 2010 Merry Tu (San Francisco, California, US) I needed a pair of goggles for a aerobic swimming class and decided to purchase these based on the previous reviews. These goggles are great! The nose pieces were a little hard to change, but after I fit the proper one, they were comfortable and never leaked. The lenses are tinted, and might be a little to dark if you are swimming indoors, but for me they provided the perfect amount of protection from the sun. After ten weeks of usage (two times a week), they have begun to fog a little, but that's to be expected I guess. Even so, I plan on getting these if I ever need a replacement pair, and would highly recommend them.
